Eastwood Man Wins £62k Playing Bingo At Mecca Club
Nathan Jenkins, a 22-year-old from Eastwood is looking forward to a celebratory holiday abroad with his girlfriend, after scooping more than £62,000 playing bingo at the Mecca Club in Southend.
The big win came as quite a surprise for him, as it was only the fourth time he'd ever played bingo.
Nathan completed a full house in 40 calls and won the National Bingo Game prize of £60,000, plus the Regional prize of over £1,800 and the house prize of £158.
“I didn’t quite believe I’d won it at first and it took a good few days for it to sink in,” said Nathan who intends to save most of the money, “My girlfriend couldn’t believe it either.”
