Mirror Bingo raises £13,000 for charity
Online bingo site Mirror Bingo has presented a cheque for £13,000 to the Children With Leukaemia charity.
In May of this year the online bingo site Mirror Bingo was host to a charity event where its members joined together to play bingo and raise lots of cash for the Children With Leukaemia charity, and the charity drive managed to gather an impressive £13,000 in donations to go toward the leukaemia research and care.
This month Mirror Bingo presented the money to the charity at their annual children’s party, the largest event of its kind, which was attended by stars such as Paul Young, Michael Caine and Des O’Conner.
Every year the huge Children With Leukaemia children’s party gives 6,000 disadvantaged, disabled and seriously ill kids the party of their lives, while raising money to help children recover from the disease.
Mirror Bingo also played host to an online Q&A with Carol Vorderman on the 8th July. The TV presenter supports the charity but was unable to make it to the event. She answered questions from Mirror Bingo players, talking about her upcoming roles and other charity work with the Cleft Lip and Palate Association.
Carol will also be giving away signed photographs at the Mirror Bingo web site sometime in the near future. It’s always worth keeping an eye on Mirror Bingo for upcoming events and promotions as they have frequent giveaways and celebrity chats. Head over there every Thursday for the chance to win an iPod Nano in the party bingo room!
