Pensioner From West Denton Wins £11,000
After winning £11,000 at the Gala Bingo hall in Gateshead, a woman from West Denton was so shocked that she started to cry after her win was announced.
The 69-year-old won the National Afternoon Delight Bingo prize of £10,530 together with the Regional prize of over £1,000 and the club prize of £100, after completing a full house in 45 numbers.
“Everybody started clapping when my win was announced and the staff were so lovely, but I just went to pieces,” she said. “It’s all such a lovely surprise.”
The lucky lady, who has four children, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. plans to redecorate her home, buy a new telly and take a holiday with a friend
