Do Your Thing To Save Offline Bingo!
James Cook, the famous Scottish Champion Bingo Caller, has registered a petition on the Downing Street web site calling for the Prime Minister to 'Save Our Bingo' by ending the grossly unfair system of 'Double Taxation' that threatens hundreds of our beloved British bingo clubs.
This system involves both VAT (17.5%) and Gross Profits Tax (15%) being applied to bingo revenues.
Unless the Government abolishes VAT on bingo revenues in its budget many more bingo clubs will be forced to close.
So far, more than 1500 bingo fans have signed the petition. Now it’s your turn!
