Penycae Woman Wins £19,000
A woman from Penycae cried tears of joy after learning she had won more than £19,000 playing Bingo at the Mecca Club in Wrexham.
The 39 year old won the National Bingo Game prize of more than £17,000, plus the Regional prize of over £2,000 and the house prize of £133.
The National Bingo Game prize was £34,510 but she had to share it with a player from Carlisle, who also completed a full house in 40 calls.
“I couldn’t believe it when I realised how much I had won,” said the woman, “I sat there with a big smile on my face but tears running down.”
She plans to use the money for home improvements and a holiday in the sun with her hubby.
