Chester Mum Scoops £23,000!
A quarter of a century of playing Bingo finally paid off big time for a 43 year old woman from Chester when she won more than £23,000 at the Mecca Bingo Club in Brook Dale Place.
She won the National Bingo Game prize of more than £20,000, plus the regional prize of over £3,000 and the club prize of £169. This was her first big win. The National Bingo Game prize was £62,100 but she had to share it with 2 other players in Hull and Sunderland who also completed a full house in 44 calls.
“I couldn’t believe it when I found out how much I had won,” said the woman who has a partner and two kids. “Everyone in the club was congratulating me and there was a great atmosphere.”
One of the first things she plans to do with the money is to have a big holiday.
