London Mum Wins £73,000!
A 27-year-old part-time fast food assistant from Seven Kings, London cried with shock and happiness after winning more than £73,000 playing bingo.
She won the National Bingo Game prize of over £70,000, plus the Regional prize of more than £3,000 and the house prize of nearly £300, after completing a full house in 40 calls at the Mecca Club in the Dagenham Leisure Park.
On the night of her win, her boyfriend was drinking at the club bar while she played.
“He was ecstatic when he realised how much I had won and just kept laughing,” said the mother of two who is now able to save for her kids’ future. “He said it was unbelievable that something like this could happen to us. He paid for my ticket so we’re going to spend the money together.”
