Gran Wins Big Time!
A Mansfield Woodhouse gran won more than £36,000 playing Bingo at the local Walkers Club.
While playing together with two friends on Thursday, 3 April, Sue completed a full house in 46 calls and won the National Bingo Game prize of more than £34,000, plus the Regional prize of over £2,000 and the house prize of £50.
Sue, who is married with a son and a granddaughter, is sticking to an agreement to share the money with her sister-in-law and their Bingo buddies who play with them each week.
“We’ve always shared but up to now our biggest win has been £300,” said the lucky lady. ”We started playing because we thought that if somebody else could win then we could too; but we never really imagined we’d get this kind of money.”
The 55 year old business centre manager hasn’t yet decided what she will do with her share of the money.
“I haven’t had time to think about it yet,” she said. “It’s all still buzzing round in my head at the moment. I’m on cloud 9 though.”
