Mother And Daughter Share £31,000 Bingo Win!
A great grandmother from Fleetwood is splitting her £31,000 winnings 50/50 with her daughter, after she paid for her Bingo tickets.
The lucky lady completed a full house in 44 calls and won the National Bingo Game prize of almost £29,000, plus the Regional prize of £2,000 and the house prize of £23 at her local Top Ten Club.
“I was pretty calm when I was told how much I had won, but I think that’s because it took a couple of days for it to sink in,” said the 63-year-old woman. “I said to my daughter before I went that we may as well split it if I won. I never thought I would win though.”
The woman, who is retired and has six children, 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, intends to use her share to buy a new car, carpets and furniture for her home and as spending money for a pre-booked holiday.
