Nottingham Pensioner Wins £64,000 At Gala Bingo Club
Three decades of playing Bingo have finally paid off for a pensioner from Nottingham, who has won more than £64k at her local Gala Club.
She completed a full house in 40 numbers and won the National Bingo Game prize of £61,580, plus the Regional prize of more than £3,000 and the house prize of £45.
The winner says she is still in shock and she’s looking forward to treat her two daughters and six grand children with the money.
“My husband didn’t believe me when I told him how much I’d won, and one of my daughters cried,” said the lucky lady, “I’m still thinking about what I’m going to do with my winnings. It’s a lot to take in when you’ve never had money before.”
The 74-year-old winner has been a member of the Gala Bingo Club in St Annes Well Road for almost twenty years and plays there three times a week.
